ISO 14001
Description of 4.2 Environmental Policy
Top management is required to define an environmental policy for the organization. This policy should be appropriate for the size, type and effects the
organization's products or services. ISO 14001 is interested in seeing that the organization tries to continually improve their measures to combat pollution and that it complies with governmental/corporate requirements. The organization needs to document and then review the progress it is making and share that information publicly.
